As part of our mission, KNOCA strives to gather and share information on national climate assemblies across Europe and beyond. Our summaries of national assemblies is one format for sharing such information, in hopes that it makes it easier learn from others who have been through the thick of organising a climate assembly at national scale.

This compendium is designed to make it simpler to navigate and explore KNOCA’s summaries of these assemblies, allowing easier access to the collection as a downloadable reference work. At current, the collection counts 19 summaries of national assemblies, structured around inverse chronology – e.g. the most recent assembly is presented first. Once new information on a national assembly becomes available, be that the publishing of the assembly’s final recommendations, insights into recruitment or communication strategies, or something else entirely, KNOCA will update this compendium to reflect it. Therefore, this compendium, and the individual summaries on which it builds, is the place you can stay most up to date on how state-of-the-art climate assembly practice is implemented and employed in the real world.

If you’d like to browse all assemblies at once, you can download the full file below. If you’re looking for details about a specific climate assembly, use the drop-down menu on the right to navigate to the one you’re interested in.

We hope this resource helps you to find the insights and information you’re looking for – or even that you might not have known that you were looking for.
