The Knowledge Network on Climate Assemblies (KNOCA) aims to improve the commissioning, design, implementation and impact of climate assemblies, using evidence, knowledge exchange and dialogue. We are an active community of policy makers, practitioners, activists, researchers and other actors with experience and interest in climate assemblies who co-create activities and knowledge.
Report on best practices for citizens' assemblies on climate

As part of the Dutch government traineeship programme (Rijkstraineeship), six young Dutch civil servants were tasked by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy to investigate the best practices of climate assemblies worldwide. The group undertook desk-research as well as an interactive digital session with experts from various countries facilitated by Graham Smith, Chair of KNOCA. The final report, Best Practices for Citizens Assemblies on Climate summarizes their learnings for the Ministry.
