The Knowledge Network on Climate Assemblies (KNOCA) aims to improve the commissioning, design, implementation and impact of climate assemblies, using evidence, knowledge exchange and dialogue. We are an active community of policy makers, practitioners, activists, researchers and other actors with experience and interest in climate assemblies who co-create activities and knowledge.
KNOCA Advisory Council announced
The Knowledge Network on Climate Assemblies (KNOCA) is delighted to announce the appointment of an Advisory Council to offer guidance on our strategic direction and potential opportunities for impact.
The Advisory Council will be chaired by Laurence Tubiana, CEO of the European Climate Foundation, and former co-chair of the governance committee of the French Climate Assembly, France.
The other members of the Council are:
Connie Hedegaard, former Danish Environment Minister and former European Commissioner for Climate Action, Denmark
Jane Mansbridge, Political scientist, USA
Mary Robinson, Chair of the Elders and former Irish President, Ireland
Annika Savill, Executive Head of the UN Democracy Fund.
Samantha Smith, Director of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) Just Transition Center, Norway/South Africa
David van Reybrouck, Writer and funder of G1000, Belgium
