The Knowledge Network on Climate Assemblies (KNOCA) aims to improve the commissioning, design, implementation and impact of climate assemblies, using evidence, knowledge exchange and dialogue. We are an active community of policy makers, practitioners, activists, researchers and other actors with experience and interest in climate assemblies who co-create activities and knowledge.
Call for papers on citizens' assemblies in times of crisis
Innovation: The European Journal of Social Science Research is looking for proposals for papers for its special issue on “Citizens assemblies in times of crisis”
Citizens' assemblies and other sortition-based participation methods are trending around the world as a means to involve citizens directly in political decision-making. But can citizens’ assemblies contribute to problem-solving in the event of a crisis?
The deadline for abstracts is 30 June 2022.
The deadline for the first submission of the manuscript is 30 September.
