The Knowledge Network on Climate Assemblies (KNOCA) aims to improve the commissioning, design, implementation and impact of climate assemblies, using evidence, knowledge exchange and dialogue. We are an active community of policy makers, practitioners, activists, researchers and other actors with experience and interest in climate assemblies who co-create activities and knowledge.
Learning Call on the Danish Climate Assembly
Time
The Danish Climate Assembly is the latest in a series of climate assemblies at national level in Europe. What distinguishes the Danish Assembly from its predecessors is that it was organised in two phases and had the task of providing continuous input to the ongoing political negotiations. Lars Klüver, Director of the Danish Board of Technology and main moderator, Britta Gernaey, Assembly participant, Anna Paulin, Member of the Danish Parliament from the Social Democrats, and Ingrid Helene Brandt, PhD student at the University of Copenhagen, discussed with Graham Smith, Chairman of KNOCA, and took questions from the audience.
